ID Card Reader coming to the Library Faculty-Staff Study Room – SUNY New Paltz News

The Faculty-Staff Study Room in the Sojourner Truth Library is receiving a security upgrade that will ensure that campus employees have exclusive access to this room.

As previously announced, the Faculty-Staff Study Room in the Sojourner Truth Library is reserved for SUNY New Paltz faculty, staff, emeriti, adjunct faculty, visiting faculty and retired faculty who wish to conduct quiet, individual work. As of Aug. 19, 2024, the room was temporarily moved to M05 on the Main Level of the Library to accommodate repair work being performed in other parts of the Library.

Ahead of this change, faculty and staff are advised to keep their SUNY New Paltz ID card on them while on campus, to ensure access to restricted spaces like this Library Study Room.
